New month feels like a longer wait!
I flipped the calendar to the new month, the kids are done with school, and I'm still in the two-week-wait. So much has happened, but the days are going by so slowly! Ack!! Beta on Friday! :)

Ugh...its only been 7 days! Pat busted me with pee-stick in hand, and scolded me while laughing "Haha, you know its too early! Why are you driving yourself nuts? haha!"

Woohoo!! It's official!!
We're all in the two-week-wait!! Our attempt for a sibling went wonderfully!! Now we wait...tick, tock! I have a slip for a beta on June 5th, but I don't think I'll be waiting for the beta. Something tells me that the stash of HPTs will be calling me way before the 5th of June! :)

We're here!
We got the van fixed and made it to our appt today! We're still here at J & B's house, and are enjoying spending time with John. We have another appt in the morning, then we'll head back home.

WHAT NEXT?!?
Well, we had to reschedule our Monday appt. Jen will try to get me in on Thursday.
Our van that we had "fixed" at a dealership near Pat's work (on April 28) was making a funny noise. We decided to have it looked at before our 4 hour trip, its a good thing. We took it to the dealership near our home. The mechanic was totally shocked that I was able to drive it, and said Pat and I would have never made it to DC. The previous shop didn't tighten the bolts on the drivers side tire, so it was wobbling about 2 inches to either side. The mechanic said that side would have fallen apart and we would have wrecked. I asked what else hadn't been done, (we got an oil change) so they checked the oil filter and asked if we had a leak! Uh, NO! Then he turned it more than a full turn to tighten it! It was loose and leaking oil! He also asked if the other place told us about the power steering problem..we said "what problem?" Apparently the power steering pump may need replaced!
Unfortunately, the warranty company has already PAID for the repair (wheel bearings, L/F tire), and they were closed today as well as tomorrow. The dealership will be calling them on Monday morning to see what we're supposed to do. I told the mechanic that I DO NOT want the van taken back to the other dealership! Needless to say, we are furious, and are stuck at home on the weekend with no transportation! We have to wait to see what if the poor repair caused any OTHER damage to any other parts, and who will pay for the repairs.
